1. Introduction
Welcome to Watt&Link (hereinafter, “Watt&Link”, “we”, or “the Company”), a brand owned by Jordi Reixach Cargol, based in Spain and with website www.wattandlink.com. These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter, the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the SaaS platform, public pages, subscription flows, and related services offered by Watt&Link (hereinafter, the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, accessing the platform, or using the Service, the User accepts these Terms.
2. Service Purpose
Watt&Link is a SaaS platform mainly intended for companies and teams in the solar and energy sector. The Service helps centralize plant data, multi-brand monitoring, alerts, tasks, workgroups, contracts, services, reports, operational analysis, and integration/API observability. Watt&Link may connect to portals, APIs, devices, payment providers, and other third-party systems to display operational information and support workflows. The Service does not replace official manufacturer portals, certified metering systems, or the professional judgment of the teams using it.
3. Eligibility
The Service is primarily intended for professional, business, or B2B use. The User represents that they have sufficient authority to contract or use the Service on their own behalf or on behalf of the company, entity, or team they represent, and that they have the necessary permissions to enter data, connect integrations, authorize access, manage plants, or invite other users.
4. Subscription, Pricing, and Billing
- Subscription model:
The Service is offered through subscription plans and, where applicable, associated services or add-ons. Features, limits, available brands, plant volume, users, integrations, reports, or automations may vary depending on the plan, configuration, contracted volume, or current commercial agreements. - Free trials and promotions:
Some plans may include free trial periods, discounts, or promotional conditions. The specific duration, application, and conditions will be those shown on the subscription page, checkout, or applicable commercial communication at the time of purchase. If the subscription continues after the trial period, billing may start according to the selected plan and billing cycle. - Billing:
Plans may be purchased with different billing cycles, such as monthly, quarterly, or annual, where available. Final amounts, applicable taxes, currency, billing period, and payment conditions are confirmed before checkout is completed. The User undertakes to provide valid, accurate, and up-to-date billing and payment information.
5. Payment Processing
Payment processing, subscriptions, charges, taxes, and invoices may be handled through Paddle or other payment providers enabled by Watt&Link. Use of these providers may be subject to their own terms, policies, and verification processes. Watt&Link does not store full card details and may use the information returned by the provider to activate, update, renew, suspend, or cancel subscriptions.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation:
The User may request cancellation of their subscription by following the procedure indicated in the platform, checkout, payment provider, or by contacting Watt&Link. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period and access may remain available until that date. - Refunds:
Refunds will be managed according to the published refund policy, checkout conditions, applicable law, and the payment provider's rules. Refunds are not guaranteed for partially used periods, services already provided, configurations already completed, or consumed add-ons, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
7. User Accounts and Access
- Account creation and administration:
The main account may be created during purchase, by invitation, onboarding process, or manual activation. The User or company administrator may invite other users and configure roles, permissions, plant access, services, and available modules according to the contracted plan and configuration. - Shared use and security:
The User is responsible for protecting their credentials, limiting access to authorized persons only, and keeping account information up to date. Watt&Link may suspend or limit access if it detects misuse, security risk, non-payment, breach of these Terms, or use that may affect the platform, other customers, or third-party systems.
8. Service Availability and Maintenance
- Watt&Link will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, secure, and operational. However, the Service may experience temporary interruptions due to maintenance, updates, technical incidents, third-party changes, API limits, connectivity issues, force majeure, or causes outside Watt&Link's reasonable control.
- Many features depend on data, credentials, authorizations, APIs, portals, devices, or third-party services. Watt&Link does not guarantee that those third parties will always maintain the availability, accuracy, frequency, integrity, or format of the data. If a manufacturer, portal, provider, or external service modifies, limits, or interrupts access, Watt&Link may adapt, suspend, or limit related features without assuming liability for the absence, delay, or inconsistency of external information.
9. Warranties and Limitations of Liability
- Warranties:
The Service is provided as available and as an operational support tool. Watt&Link does not guarantee economic results, energy performance, absence of incidents, detection of every alert, absolute accuracy of all data, continuity of all integrations, or suitability of the Service for every specific User need, except to the extent required by applicable law. - Limitation of liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Watt&Link shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of opportunities, business interruption, decisions made exclusively based on the Service, incorrect third-party data, or unavailability of external portals. Watt&Link's total liability shall in any case be limited to the amount paid by the User for the Service during the six months preceding the claim, or to the mandatory limit established by applicable law.
10. Confidentiality and Data Usage
- Confidentiality:
Operational, commercial, technical, and plant information entered or connected by the User through the Service will be treated as confidential and used to provide, maintain, protect, improve, and support the Service, in accordance with these Terms and the applicable privacy policy. - AI-assisted features:
Where the Service includes artificial intelligence or automation-assisted features, those features are intended for operational, analytical, or support purposes. The User must not enter information that they are not entitled to process. Watt&Link will not use identifiable customer data to train general third-party models without a legal basis, consent, or applicable agreement. Any use of data for improvement, analysis, or internal training must be performed in aggregated or anonymized form, or according to the applicable contractual and privacy documentation. - Third-party processing and disclosure:
To provide the Service, data may be processed by or disclosed to necessary providers, such as payment platforms, hosting, email, analytics, manufacturers, APIs, automations, or AI services, always according to the purpose of the Service, the User's configuration, granted authorizations, and applicable law. The privacy policy describes personal data processing in more detail.
11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual and industrial property rights related to Watt&Link, the software, design, brand, interfaces, processes, documentation, content, and Service components are owned by Watt&Link or by third parties who have authorized their use. The User receives only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the Service while they maintain valid access. Copying, reselling, reproducing, decompiling, exploiting, or creating competing services based on the Service without express authorization is prohibited.
12. Changes to These Terms
Watt&Link may modify these Terms to reflect legal, technical, commercial, product, or security changes. Changes will be published on the website or platform and, where reasonable or necessary, notified to Users. Continued use of the Service after publication or entry into force of the changes will imply acceptance of the new Terms, without prejudice to any rights recognized by applicable law.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Girona, Spain, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond.
14. General Provisions
If any clause of these Terms is deemed null, invalid, or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which will continue to apply to the maximum extent possible.
Section titles are for informational purposes only and do not affect the interpretation of the Terms. Watt&Link's failure to immediately exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of its ability to exercise that right later.
